Marshalltown, IA – The Marshalltown Community College Athletic Department has added Dana Miller to its athletic training staff. As part of the new agreement with Select Physical Therapy, the athletic department will receive two full time athletic trainers.  Miller will assist Head Athletic Trainer, Mike Jones, in the training room covering volleyball, women's basketball, and baseball.

"I'm really excited about joining the athletic department here at MCC," stated Miller. "I look forward to building relationships with the student-athletes, coaches, and the administration".

Miller was a graduated of the University of Northern Iowa where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Athletic Training. While taking classes at UNI he worked as a student athletic trainer, assisting with the wrestling, volleyball, women's soccer, and football teams. Miller was just recently working at Iowa Central Community College, where he was on staff since 2015.While in Fort Dodge he focused on the Triton football and baseball teams. During his time at Iowa Central he earned his Masters Degree in Sports and Recreational Administration from Wayne State College.

Dana is engaged to Brooke Schorg and currently resides in Pleasant Hill, Iowa. Dana began his tenure at MCC on August 16.
