Photo Guide to navigating the new website
The Marshalltown Community College Department of Athletics would like to announce the release of the newly upgraded athletic website, www.mccathletics.com via PrestoSports.
The site, which has been provided by PrestoSports since 2013, receives a fan-friendly upgrade with an array of features that allows supporters of MCC to get all of their Tiger Athletic information in an efficient, appealing way.
The upgraded website incorporates larger photos on the home screen to show off the most recent Tiger news. The site features an interactive social media stream on the home page along with direct linkage to each Tiger Athletics social media outlets.
As opposed to the previous layout of the website, the revamped page features a responsive, scrolling look that outlines multiple sections on the homepage. These sections include top stories, social media, calendar, results, video, headlines, and stat leaders.
The mobile site has been updated as well to provide timely, easy to access news, scores, and more for fans of MCC Athletics.
“The student-athlete is what makes college athletics thrive,” said Sports Information Director Ricky Webster. “At MCC, we believe that the continued athletic and academic accomplishments of each of our student-athletes should be fully highlighted. With the most recent upgrade to our website, our student-athletes’ success will receive maximum exposure in multiple ways.”
“Along with our student-athletes, our fans and supporters of Tiger Athletics are very important to us,” Webster added. “With a diverse student-athlete population, we cater to people from across the globe and we want them to receive the most timely, efficient information regarding their son, daughter, family member, or just their favorite Tiger athlete. Thanks to Presto Sports, we have the unique ability to showcase all of the great things that our student-athletes do on the playing surfaces, in the classroom, and in our community.”
MCC is one of more than 500 clients that has partnered with PrestoSports.
