Tigers' Cross Country coach, Jarret Heil resigns

MARSHALLTOWN – Jarret Heil has resigned from his position as Marshalltown Community College’s head men’s and women’s cross country coach, effective May 31, 2013.

Heil led the Tigers since the inception of the program in 2009. Between 2011 and 2012, Heil coached seven men and two women to the NJCAA National Championships.

“I want to thank coach Heil for his dedication to the development of our cross country program while serving our community as a full time employee” said Dan Huntley, Director of Athletics and Student Life at MCC. “I personally wish Jarret and his wife Dawna the best as they commit their time to their current family and expected twins in June.”
