Athletic Inquiry

Do you want to become a Tiger?

Today’s college athletic landscape is very competitive.  Marshalltown Community College may be able to provide the right opportunity for you to continue your athletic and academic pursuits at the collegiate level.  You can’t sit and wait for coaches to call or text you if you want to compete at the college level.  Your best chance for success may be due to your pursuit of a college program.

Due to our competitive schedules and many times having the same playing seasons, our coaches may not be able to personally see all of our potential student athletes compete in person so you can take this opportunity to contact our coaches and start the recruitment process.

MCC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) offering varsity athletics at the two-year level.  We are a member of and compete in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC), one of the most competitive conferences, in every sport, in the nation.  MCC may be able to provide you a great opportunity to continue to develop your athletic skills, compete for championships, qualify academically and help to secure scholarship opportunities from 4-year colleges and universities.

At this time we are designated as Division I for men’s baseball, basketball and soccer.  We are designated as Division II for women’s basketball, softball and volleyball.  That means we may offer scholarship awards for tuition, fees, room, board, books and class related expenses for our DI sports.  We can offer scholarship awards for tuition, fees, books and class related expenses for our DII sports.
