26 student-athletes named to Academic All-Region teams

The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) has announced its Academic All-Region teams for the spring semester, and Marshalltown Community College was well represented. 26 student-athletes, including 15 on the first-team, across two sports earned recognition from the region.

Academic All-Region requirements consist of maintaining a grade point average of 3.5 or better for first-team honors and a grade point average between 3.0 and 3.49 for second-team honors.

The baseball team placed 15 players on the team, including 11 on the first-team. The softball team had 11 selections with four named to the first-team.
