The Marshalltown Community College baseball team will make up its postponed doubleheader against Ellsworth Community College at 1:00 PM on Tuesday afternoon at Shawn Williams Field. Tuesday's games were postponed on Sunday due to poor field conditions.
Along with Tuesday's make-up date, MCC has also added a doubleheader against cross-division opponent Southwestern Community College on Wednesday afternoon for a 1:00 PM start in Creston, IA.
The Tigers' JV squad will travel to Indianola, IA on Thursday afternoon for a matchup against the Simpson College JV team at 2:00 PM for a doubleheader.
MCC will close out the week with five games over three days, with all contests to be played in Centerville, IA. The Tigers will take on Indian Hills Community College for a nonconference matchup at 3:00 PM on Friday, followed by a game against Hibbing Community College at 5:00 PM. On Saturday, MCC will take on St. Cloud Technical College at 12:30 PM and Hibbing at 5:30 PM.
The Tigers will wrap up the weekend with a 12:30 PM date with St. Cloud on Sunday. All games on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be single, nine-inning games.
