Kevin Davidson - Owner/Founder Baseball Cloud

Kevin Davidson is the owner and founder of Baseball Cloud in Longwood, Florida. Davidson played at Rollins College and was drafted by the Houston Astros in the 28th round of the 2002 MLB Draft. From 2002 to 2007, he played in the Astros’ minor league system. Davidson went on to coach in the Florida Collegiate Summer League where he won multiple championships with Winter Park and coached under three-time World Series winner Davey Johnson. Davidson is the all-time winningest coach in Florida Collegiate League history. Davidson recently started Baseball Cloud as a company that consolidates data into a centralized location. Baseball Cloud gives amateur and professional teams the ability to track and review their data in multiple ways. It is currently used by over 40 of the top collegiate programs and private facilities in the country. 

Ean McNeal, Private Pitching Coach/Programmer, Cedar Rapids, IA

Ean McNeal is considered one of the brightest minds in skill-acquisition in the region. McNeal played collegiately at North Iowa Area CC and Chicago State. After his playing career, he coached at the high school level at Cedar Rapids Xavier High School and Dunkerton High School. From there, he went into the private sector at 108 Performance in Irvine, California. At 108, he worked with youth, high school, college, and professional throwers daily. A fantastic programmer, Ean has a knack for understanding human movement, skill acquisition, and recovery.

Casey Klunder, Head Baseball Coach Waverly Shell Rock High School

Coach Klunder’s impact on Waverly-Shell Rock High School program is well known around the state. His WSR team won it’s first state championship in school history 2015. Along with a state championship, Klunder has won the award for Northeast Iowa District Coach of the Year three times. Klunder is a constant learner with a growth mindset that is always trying to find out different, innovative ways to take his program to new heights.

Steve Hanson, Head Baseball Coach, Marshalltown High School

Coach Hanson is one of the state’s most successful coaches in Iowa High School baseball history. He has won 591 games and has taken numerous teams to the state tournament, including a 2002 team that won the state championship. Coach has earned numerous honors as the skipper of the Bobcats, including being inducted into the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame. Coach Hanson is one of the most respected coaches by his fellow coaches and college coaches that recruit the state. Coach Hanson has been a part of numerous coaching committees and groups to improve the game in the state and served as the IHSBCA president in 2016.

Adam Hilker, Pitching Coach, Morningside College

Adam Hilker is in his first season on the Mustangs' coaching staff. He was an assistant coach for three seasons at Benedictine College. Hilker helped Benedictine achieve 82 victories from 2016-18 after the team won only 44 games over the previous three campaigns Hilker also served as an assistant coach at the University of Northern Colorado in the 2013-14 academic year and was Northern Colorado’s director of baseball operations in 2012-13.

Coach Hilker enjoyed a highly successful playing career at NCAA Division I Northern Colorado, where he earned second-team All-Great West Conference honors as a junior and senior.

Doug Watt, Sports Turf Manager, West Marshall High School

Doug is a native of Marshall County, and is currently in charge of Sports Fields at West Marshall High School in State Center, Iowa. Doug has be involved in the Sports Turf industry in a variety of roles. He has been a long time member of the Iowa Sports Turf Managers Association. Doug’s efforts at West Marshall are well known, for example, Schilling Field(baseball) was recognized as Iowa’s Sport Turf Field of the Year in 2016.

Doug has also helped with numerous projects at Marshalltown Community College. Most recently, he spearheaded the DuraEdge infield renovation at Shawn Williams Field. We couldn’t have finished this extensive project without his knowledge, hard work and expertise.  

Anthony Everman, MCC Head Baseball Coach

Coach Everman has coached at multiple levels including Junior College, NAIA, and at the NCAA Division I level at Arkansas State University, University of Northern Colorado, Kansas State University, and served as an Associate Scout for the Cleveland Indians from 2011-2012. Everman just recently coached at Benedictine College a Division I NAIA institution playing in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. During Coach Everman’s tenure as Head Coach at Benedictine, the Ravens won 82 games highlighted by the 2017 season, when the Ravens won 35 games and finished 22-10 in the conference.

Connor Dawson, MCC Assistant Baseball Coach

Dawson spends most of his time working with outfielders and catchers, as well as running the strength and conditioning program.

Dawson has served as Everman’s assistant coach once before, as a member of Everman’s staff last year at Benedictine College. Coach Everman felt his experience with Dawson was positive and knew he could assist in the development of the team stating.

Dawson has a unique perspective in junior college athletics, as he is a product of junior college baseball, playing at Neosho Community College for two years. Following his time there, he went to Benedictine College. After his playing career, Dawson coached the U17 Kansas City Bullets, with his main duties revolving around getting players noticed by college programs. During the 2015-16 school years, Dawson coached at St. Thomas Aquinas High School, winning a High School State Championship and assisting in the development of two MLB draft picks. Dawson made his way back to Benedictine to assist Coach Everman in the 2018 season and spent the 2018 summer at 108 Performance as an MLB consultant.
