Marshalltown Community College is thrilled to announce its Esports Summer Day Camp, offering an immersive experience for middle and high school students on Monday, August 4th, and Tuesday, August 5th, 2025. Aspiring esports athletes will have the chance to learn from the experienced MCC Esports coaching staff and enhance their skills in a variety of popular competitive games.
What started in late August with 65 student-athletes ended on Friday, December 13th with three national championships, six national runners-up, and a 100% playoff appearance rate from all the teams at MCC! I’ll break it down in a moment but first let me give you a primer on college esports.
