During the three-game stretch, Rodriguez averaged 21.0 points per game while shooting 62.5 percent (20-32) from the floor and 55.6 percent (5-9) from three-point range. The rookie also averaged 4.3 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 4.0 steals during the week while playing an average of 28.3 minutes per game.
Taking on Wartburg JV on Monday night, Rodriguez scored 16 points to go along with seven rebounds, six assists and two steals to help carry the Tigers to an 88-58 victory.
Two nights later, Rodriguez provided a career-effort against Clinton Community College. Rodriguez poured in a career-high 27 points and grabbed nine steals as MCC picked up its third straight win, 73-49.
On Saturday night Rodriguez found himself in foul trouble early on against No. 6 Indian Hills, but rebounded in the second half to score 18 points and finish the game with 20, his fifth game with at least 20 points on the year.
Rodriguez has scored in double-figures in 10 straight games and leads the Tigers in scoring with 14.4 points per game on the year. Rodriguez's 41.9 clip from three-point range also leads MCC.
The Tigers host No. 17 Iowa Western Community College at 7:00 PM on Wednesday night in the Student Activity Center.
