The Marshalltown Community College men's basketball team will be hosting a series of holiday camps and tournaments at the Student Activity Center in the coming months for kids of all ages.
The MCC Christmas Basketball Camp will be held on December 20th from 10:00 AM- 3:00 PM for boys and girls in grades 1-8. Lunch will be provided for all campers. Cost of the camp will be $30 for the early bird special (by November 4th), $35 by December 10th, and $45 after December 10th.
On December 21st, the Tigers will host the Tiny Tot Christmas Camp for boys and girls aged four years old to kindergartners. Cost for the Tiny Tot camp will be $20 for the early bird special (by November 21st), $25 by December 10th, and $30 after December 10th.
All campers will receive individual skill development, group and team instruction, guest lectures from coaches, and a camp t-shirt along with a MCC Basketball team poster.
MCC has also scheduled three dates for youth basketball one-day tournaments- January 24, February 21, and March 14. These tournaments will be for boys in grades 3-8. The cost for each individual tournament is $150 per team. Teams will receive $50 off if they sign up for all three tournaments.
All tournaments will be run by certified officials. Coaches will receive Nike Dri-Fit t-shirts and awards will be given out to the first and second place teams.
