The Marshalltown Community College Men's Basketball team hosted a successful holiday basketball camp, featuring more than 50 kids.

"As always, we had a great turnout at our most recent basketball camp," mentioned MCC head coach Brynjar Brynjarsson. "The kids received a full day of activity, gaining valuable lessons about both basketball and team work throughout the day. As a program, we feel that it's important to build relationships with our youth in the community and get them involved in activities on a consistent basis."

Campers, both boys and girls, received individual training along with team-based exercises to help develop their basketball skills.

"We really enjoy hosting these camps each year," Brynjarsson continued. "The kids really look forward to it, especially having it right around the holiday season. A lot of their friends are able to attend which makes it that much more enjoyable."

Along with the individual camps, the Tigers also host a series of team tournaments for boys and girls throughout the year. For more information on the tournaments, visit: http://mccathletics.com/athletics/camps_clinics
