NJCAA Division I Poll

After a one week hiatus from the national rankings, the Marshalltown Community College men's soccer team returned to the NJCAA Division I poll in the Receiving Votes category. The Tigers are just one of two Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) teams to appear in the poll.

The Tigers (7-2-1, 3-1-0), who dropped out of the poll last week, scored two conference wins over the last seven days to jump back into the national mix. MCC defeated Scott Community College 4-2 on Tuesday and North Iowa Area Community College 2-1 on Saturday.

MCC entered the season ranked No. 15 in the preseason poll and fell to the Receiving Votes category for the first two weeks of the regular season polls.

The Tigers join Iowa Western as the only ICCAC teams in the poll. Iowa Western is currently ranked No. 3 with a perfect 9-0-0 overall record and are 3-0-0 in conference play.

MCC looks to improve on its resume with a road conference game at Indian Hills today at 4:00 PM.
