NSCAA Division I Poll          NJCAA Division I Poll

The Marshalltown Community College men's soccer team jumped up three spots in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Junior College Division I Poll to No. 16 while the Tigers entered the NJCAA Division I Poll at No. 19 this week. The Tigers are currently 12-3-1 overall and 8-2-0 in the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC).

The Tigers rose in each poll following back-to-back 5-0 conference shutouts last week over Scott Community College and Iowa Lakes Community College. MCC came in at No. 19 in last week's NSCAA poll while the team received votes in the NJCAA poll.

MCC continues to be one of two teams from the ICCAC consistently in the national rankings. First-place Iowa Western Community College entered this week's polls at No. 1 in each for the second straight week. The Reivers are currently 16-0-0 overall and 9-0-0 in the league play.

The Tigers used a 2-1 victory over North Iowa Area Community College on Tuesday afternoon to boost their record. MCC has now won three straight games and have allowed just four goals over that span.

Freshman Juan Carillo (Cordoba, Spain/CES Lope de Vega) was also named this week's ICCAC Offensive Player of the Week for the third consecutive week.
