A multitude of former Marshalltown Community College men's soccer players have moved on to four-year programs following their stint as a Tiger. Many of those players contributed or are currently contributing to their team's success this year.

Former MCC All-American Javier Lopez Mochon has been a primary figure for the Lynn University Fighting Nights (FL) over the last two years. The senior has started all 19 games for his team this year as the Fighting Knights (17-1-1) will play in the NCAA Division II Final Four on Dec. 4. Mochon has started all 37 games in his career at Lynn and was named to the All-Sunshine State Conference Second-Team as a junior.

At MCC, Mochon was a First-Team NSCAA Division I All-American in 2012 as well as a Scholar All-American after leading the Tigers to the NJCAA Division I National Tournament.

Bruno Liozzi and Joao Oliveira departed MCC in 2012 and ended up at Southern Wesleyan University (SC). Liozzi started 39 of a possible 42 career games at SWU while scoring 17 goals, including a team-high 10 this past season. Oliveira made 33 career starts and totaled 30 points over his career and ranked third on the team this year with 16 points.

The two helped the Warriors claim the school's first National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Championship in 2013.

Another pair of Tigers, Andrew Valett and Ralph Duopu went on to help NAIA member William Penn University (IA) this past season. The two competed at MCC from 2012-2013. Valett appeared in 14 games, scoring two goals while Duopu made 14 starts on the year, scoring one goal for the Statesmen.

Former captain Alex Galvan finished his playing days at MCC in 2013 and moved on to NCAA Division II Dixie State University (UT) where he appeared in all 15 games as a junior, starting the final 10 matches.

Kevin Guerrero (2012-2013) moved on to the Southwestern College Moundbuilders (KS), an NAIA institution where the junior appeared in 15 games, tallying one goal and one assist this past season.
