For the second consecutive year, Marshalltown Community College men's soccer player Juan Carrillo has earned NJCAA Division I All-American honors. In his final season as a Tiger, Carrillo was named to the third team.

Carrillo becomes the first soccer player in school history to earn repeat honors after the forward was named to the second team as a freshman. Carrillo was one of four members from the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) to earn All-American honors, joining three players from conference champion Iowa Western Community College.

2014 was another stellar year for Carrillo. The final season saw the Spain native place himself as one of the best players to don the Tiger uniform. Carrillo led the Tigers with 14 goals and 16 assists for a total of 44 points on the year. The sophomore led the ICCAC in assists, which also ranked sixth nationally, and finished second in the conference in points.

Carrillo finished his career at MCC with 28 goals, including 11 game-winners, 29 assists, and 85 total points. His 29 career assists rank first in school history while his 16 assists in 2014 top the record book for a single season performance. Carrillo's 85 career points rank third in school history while his 28 career goals rank fourth.

Carrillo's 2014 All-American nod is the 31st in MCC history among all sports and is the ninth soccer selection.
