Sophomores Juan Carrillo (Cordoba, Spain/CES Lope de Vega) and Celes Vilar (Las Palmas, Spain/San Antonio Maria Claret) of the Marshalltown Community College men's soccer team added one more postseason honor to complete their career as a Tiger. Carrillo was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/Continental Tire Junior College Division I First-Team All-East Region, while Vilar was a second-team selection.

Both players were chosen to the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) All-Region XI First-Team in November. Carrillo was awarded a spot on the NJCAA Third-Team All-American squad as well after leading the Tigers in goals, assists, and points on the year.

Carrillo, the first player in program history to earn NJCAA All-American honors in consecutive years, finished the season with 14 goals, 16 assists, and 44 points. Carrillo set the school record for career assists with 29, and his 16 assists in 2014 are a single season school record. The sophomore also led the ICCAC in assists during his final season.

Vilar finished second for the Tigers in points with 19, coming on seven goals and five assists. The sophomore scored two game-winners on the year and was named ICCAC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 23.

The two sophomores, both natives of Spain, finished their career at MCC with a record of 27-11-1.
