A number of former Marshalltown Community College Men's Soccer players have moved on to four-year institutions and found success on the playing field.

A pair of Tigers from the 2014 class, Juan Carrillo and Celes Vilar, moved on to Queens University (NC), an NCAA Division II institution of the South Atlantic Conference (SAC). Vilar appeared in 15 games for the Royals, making nine starts. As a junior, Vilar scored two goals on 12 shots. Carrillo appeared in the team's first three games of the season, making one start before suffering a season-ending injury. Queens finished the season with a 10-8-1 record after reaching the SAC Championship match.

At MCC, the two combined to win 27 games for the Tigers. Carrillo was a two-time All-American after setting multiple records while Vilar earned All-Region honors.

Jordan Gilmore was a two-year teammate of Vilar and Carrillo as the three were named team captains. Gilmore moved on to NCAA Division II Trevecca Nazarene University (TN) after his stint at MCC. Gilmore contributed two assists for the Trojans while appearing in 14 of the team's games this year. Gilmore was a First-Team All-Region XI selection as a sophomore for the Tigers.

Austin See played in 33 career games for MCC between 2013 and 2014 before moving on to the University of the Southwest. See played in six games for the Mustangs and made three starts. At MCC, See was a Second-Team All-Region XI selection.

Members of the 2013 class recently concluded their collegiate playing careers. Alex Galvan, a captain on the 2013 MCC team, helped Dixie State University (UT), a NCAA Division II program, reach the PacWest championship game. Galvan appeared in 31 career games over the last two seasons, and started all 16 contests as a senior.

Kevin Guerrero finished his career at Southwestern College (KS) and started 13 games in his final season. Guerrero appeared in 29 total games over the past two seasons and recorded five career points.

Andrew Valett made three starts for William Penn University, appearing in 15 games, including a match at MCC this past season. Vallett appeared in a total of 29 games for the Statesmen.
