Current Marshalltown Community College men's soccer player Ryosuke Kinoshita (Hyogo, Japan/Takigawadaini) will join the FC Boulder U23 squad for the upcoming summer season. Boulder is entering its inaugural season with the Premier Development League.

Members of the PDL Mountain Division, Boulder will play against the likes of Albuquerque Sol F.C., FC Tucson, and Denver. The 2017 season opens up on May 13. Kinoshita will play with and against top competition from across the country, featuring players from NCAA Division I programs.

"I'm excited to play at a very high level in the PDL," Kino stated. "I'm looking forward to pushing my abilities to the limit and playing against strong competition. Marshalltown has given me the opportunity to reach this point in my career and I am excited for the next step."

Under the guidance of MCC head coach Rafael Martinez, Kinoshita joins a number of former Tigers that have competed in the PDL, including NJCAA All-Americans Juan Carlos Carrillo and Javier Lopez.

"I am happy that Kino has the opportunity to continue developing his game at the PDL level," Martinez stated. "He is a young man of clear objectives and one of them is to continue his soccer career beyond college. I think that competing at the semi-professional level will give him a good assessment of what he needs to continue improving in order to have a chance of making a living with soccer. I also look forward to the extra quality coaching he will receive with Boulder so that he can continue to be an impact player for us."

In his freshman season at MCC, Kinoshita starred on the pitch for the Tigers, earning NSCAA Division I All-East Region honors along with a spot on the First-Team All-Region XI. The freshman scored 18 goas with nine assists for 45 points which all ranked second in the conference.
