The Marshalltown Community College Athletic Department would like to congratulate Roger De La Villa for being named Iowa Community College Athletic Conference's Field Player of the Week. Last week the ranked matchup between the #14 Tigers and the #5 Warriors of Indian Hills led to Roger's nomination. The Tigers defeated the Warriors 2-1 due to a late goal by De la Villa in the eighty-fourth minute.

"Scoring the game winning goal in that moment against that team was special, I'm just happy we won the game and now lead the conference." Stated De la Villa after the game.

The men's soccer team will be in action Saturday when they travel to Iowa Western. The #12 Reivers are third in the conference currently. With an 8-2-1 overall record and a 6-1 conference record, the Reivers will be a tough test but one the Tigers are ready for.
