The Marshalltown Community College Athletic Department would like to congratulate Juan Gonzalez for being named ICCAC and NJCAA Goalkeeper of the Week. Juan has played exceptionally well this season and again showed his talents last week against #5 Indian Hills. Recording four saves in a 2-1 victory, Juan has showed the ability to show up in big moments.
"Juan has been remarkable this season, he had three big time saves against a very talented offense. If it wasn't for his outstanding performance, it would have been a very different game." Stated coach Fuchsen.
The men's soccer team will be in action Saturday when they travel to Iowa Western. The #12 Reivers are third in the conference currently. With an 8-2-1 overall record and a 6-1 conference record, the Reivers will be a tough test but one the Tigers are ready for.
