Update: Softball schedule postponements and make-up dates

Due to inclement weather, the Marshalltown Community College softball team has been forced to alter their upcoming schedule.

After cancelling a series of games in Oklahoma over Spring Break, the Tigers played five games in two days last week. MCC was scheduled for a pair of doubleheaders against Indian Hills Community College on Saturday and against Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) opponent North Iowa Area Community College on Sunday.

The Tigers, who are scheduled to play a doubleheader at Southwestern Community College this afternoon, have rescheduled the games against NIACC to this Friday afternoon, also to be played at Southwestern, with first pitch set for 3:30 PM. The Indian Hills doubleheader has yet to be rescheduled.

MCC was originally set for a doubleheader on Thursday against Des Moines Area Community College, but those games have been changed to 3:00 PM at DMACC on Monday, March 31.

Saturday's games against Ellsworth, originally set to be played at Marshalltown, have been moved to Southwestern as well with game times scheduled for 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

Sunday's games at Iowa Central Community College, slated for 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM, remain on schedule.

The Tigers' home opener is scheduled for April 2 against Kirkwood Community College.
