Marshalltown Community College head softball coach Suzy Scheef has resigned from her position, effective immediately. MCC Director of Athletics Dan Huntley will take over as interim head coach.
"It is always unfortunate to have a coaching change in the middle of a season," Huntley expressed, "but I am confident that our softball team, Coach Mitchell, and I will meet this challenge as we head into the heart of our spring schedule. I look forward to and am excited about this opportunity to get back into the trenches as a head coach again and know that I can provide a boost to our team."
The Tigers are off until March 19 when MCC travels to Metropolitan Community College- Maple Woods for a doubleheader.
