Lexie Valentine of Saydel High School has signed her National Letter of Intent to join the Marshalltown Community College softball team for the 2015-16 season.
With the Iowa Blitz fast-pitch softball organization, Valentine contributed at both corners of the infield as well as the outfield.
"Marshalltown had everything I was looking for in a college," Valentine exclaimed when inking her letter of intent. "Major, location, size, and a very warm and welcoming softball program."
A member of Saydel's National Honors Society and Gold Honor Roll, Valentine intends to focus on criminal justice and forensics at MCC. "I want to go into DNA for hopefully the DCI crime lab."
With Valentine's signing, the Tigers have now inked four players for next season.
