Softball to host series of youth camps

Online Registration

The MCC Softball Program is offering a unique opportunity for softball players to improve their skills.  Players work directly with softball coaches and players to personalize an off-season workout that includes technique and drills used by the NJCAA Division I MCC Tigers.

"Most players go to several camps or clinics and are often told to try to pick up on one or two things that they can take away from the camp.  This is a valuable part of the learning experience.  We offer something a little different.  We provide an individualized plan that each player can take with them to improve throughout the off season.  This includes age appropriate strength and conditioning as well as softball specific drills." - MCC head coach Garland Shirley

The camp will be broken down into two grade sessions, 6th grade-12th grade and K-5th grade. There will be three separate camp dates- Sunday, Dec. 18, Saturday, Feb. 18, and Saturday, March 4 with two different time slots for each grade. Campers in grades K-5th will have the option to choose between Group I (8:00 AM-10:00 AM) or Group II (10:00 AM-12:00 PM). Campers in grades 6th-12th will will have the option to choose between Group I (8:00 AM-12:00 PM) or Group II (1:00 PM-5:00 PM).

Each camp will be $75.00 per session for 6th-12th graders. Registration for all three camps will be $200.00, a savings of $25.00. Cost for the K-5th grade campers will be $40 per session, or $100 for all three, a savings of $20.00
