MCC softball players earn All-Region Honors

MARSHALLTOWN – Marshalltown Community College softball is proud to announce that two players received DI Iowa Community College Athletic Association Conference (ICCAC) All-Region honors. Paige Westlin received 1^st Team All-Region and Emalee Davis received 2^nd Team All-Region

Westlin, a freshman from Eldridge, IA, was a power hitter for MCC this season, having the third most homeruns (12) fourth best slugging percentage (1.052) as well as the fourth best batting average (.506). She also received ICCAC Athlete of the Week twice this season.

Oskaloosa, IA freshman, Davis, had a .329 batting average for the Tigers. She had five homeruns and 36 RBIs for the season.
