    Marshalltown Community College was well represented on the NJCAA Region XI All-Academic teams as 34 student-athletes from the winter and spring seasons were recognized. 11 Tigers were named to the first-team while 23 were named to the second-team.

    The MCC Women's Basketball Team's (11-20, 6-10) season came to a close, falling to host Iowa Central Community College (22-8, 12-4) 80-49, in their first round on the Region XI tournament.

    The MCC Women's Basketball Team (10-19, 5-10), was unable to overcome 21 turnovers and a cold night of shooting, falling to visiting conference foe NJCAA Division II 17th ranked DMACC (22-7, 11-4) 78-55.

    The MCC Women's Basketball Team (10-20, 5-10) put together one of their best balanced offensive attacks of the season, scoring an 84-61 win over conference opponent Southwestern Community College.

    The MCC Women's Basketball Team (9-17, 4-8) was hoping to continue where it left off on Saturday, coming off a conference win against Iowa Lakes Community College. The Tigers had what head coach Alison Lacey thought to be their best team effort of the season heading into Monday's game against Grand View University JV.

    The MCC Tiger Women's Basketball team (8-15, 3-7) made a strong push in the second half to come within 5 points with four minutes remaining, but strong shooting from the charity strike by the Pirates would keep the Tigers from getting any closer falling 78-62.
