35 student-athletes honored for academic success
July 02, 2013Marshalltown Community College was well represented on the NJCAA Region XI All-Academic teams as 34 student-athletes from the winter and spring seasons were recognized. 11 Tigers were named to the first-team while 23 were named to the second-team. -

February 24, 2013The MCC Women's Basketball Team (10-20, 5-10) put together one of their best balanced offensive attacks of the season, scoring an 84-61 win over conference opponent Southwestern Community College.

February 19, 2013The MCC Women's Basketball Team (9-17, 4-8) was hoping to continue where it left off on Saturday, coming off a conference win against Iowa Lakes Community College. The Tigers had what head coach Alison Lacey thought to be their best team effort of the season heading into Monday's game against Grand View University JV.

Second half comeback falls short
February 12, 2013The MCC Tiger Women's Basketball team (8-15, 3-7) made a strong push in the second half to come within 5 points with four minutes remaining, but strong shooting from the charity strike by the Pirates would keep the Tigers from getting any closer falling 78-62.
