NJCAA Division I All-Region XI Women's Basketball Team

Two members of the Marshalltown Community College women's basketball team were selected to the NJCAA Division I All-Region XI teams. Sophomore Jasmin Howe (Millicent, Australia/Millicent) was a first-team selection and freshman Sammie Sproul (Waterloo, IA/Waterloo West) was named to the Honorable Mention team.

Howe, a NJCAA Division II All-Region XI second-team selection as a freshman, led the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) in most offensive categories in her final season as a Tiger. The guard led the conference in points per game (16.7), free throw percentage (87.9), three-point percentage (39.9), and field goal percentage (47.9). Howe reached double-figures in 28 of the team's 31 games on the year and scored at least 20 points nine times.

Sproul appeared on the All-Region team in her rookie campaign as the Tigers' primary point guard. Sproul started all 31 games in the back court and ranked third in the conference with 4.6 assists per game. The freshman averaged 9.6 points per game, but averaged 13.8 over her final eight games of the season, including back-to-back 20-point performances. Sproul was also named to the Academic All-Region XI team.

Both players earned ICCAC Athlete of the Week honors over the course of the season, with Howe landing two nominations on Jan. 21 and Jan. 6 while Sproul closed out the regular season with her first-career honor.

The Tigers finished their inaugural Division I season with a 17-14 mark.
