Cedar Rapids, IA—The Marshalltown Community College Women's Basketball team fell to Kirkwood Community College 65-21 on the road Saturday afternoon. Shyannon Wolf (Tama, IA/Meskwaki) led the Tigers with nine points.
Wolf connected on three three-point shots in the loss. JeAnn Hiraldo (Ames, IA/Ames) added five points and four rebounds while Accacia Huff (Peoria, IL/Central) grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.
MCC (4-8) connected on just eight of its 47 shot attempts, including 3-23 from three-point range to contribute to the loss.
The Tigers return home to take on Southwestern Community College at 6:00 PM on Dec. 9.
