Boone, IA—The Marshalltown Community College Women's Basketball team fell on the road to Des Moines Area Community College, 76-33 on Wednesday night. JeAnn Hiraldo (Ames, IA/Ames) scored a team-high 12 points.
Hiraldo pulled down seven rebounds as well to pace the Tigers. The sophomore has scored in double-digits in all but four games this season.
Victoria Pothast (Melbourne, IA/West Marshall) and Barbara Araoz (Nequen, Argentina/Maria Auxilidota) each scored seven points. Shyannon Wolf (Tama, IA/Meskwaki) added five points and Samuari Jones (Louisville, KY/Seneca) rounded out the scoring with two points.
The Tigers host Central JV at 7:00 PM on Feb. 8 as part of a doubleheader with the MCC Men's Basketball team who host Graceland JV at 5:00 PM.
