The Marshalltown Community College Women's Basketball team has signed 5'5" combo guard Claudia Morente to a National Letter of Intent for the 2016-17 season.
Morente is a native of Girona, Spain and attended Institut Jaume Vicens Vives.
"Claudia will add to the point guard position that is desired to maintain and create offensive production needed for success," stated MCC head coach Steve Garber. "In addition, Claudia can score from beyond the arc that sets up more opportunities for others. She has athleticism for a more up-tempo style."
Morente joins Sarah Kavanh, Alyssa Roth, Ryan Roberts, Loraelei Siliga, and Kiana Weston in the 2016-17 signing class for the Tigers.
