The Marshalltown Community College volleyball team has released its 2013 schedule, set to kickoff off on August 24 on the road. The Tigers posted a 14-26 record in 2012.

The Tigers will host the Tiger Invitational on Friday, Sept. 13 and Saturday, Sept. 14 at the MCC Student Activities Center.

MCC will travel to Southeast Community College in Beatrice, NE on August 24 for the RKP Invitational. The Tigers will open up the invite against McCook Community College and will take on Doane in the nightcap.

Other home matches for the Tigers include a Sept. 18 date with Des Moines Area Community College and defending Region XI-B champions Kirkwood Community College on Sept. 24. The Tigers will also host Iowa Central, the 2012 Region XI-A champions on Oct. 2.

MCC will head to Des Moines Area for the annual DMACC Invitational for a two-day event set to begin on Oct. 11.

The Tigers will close out the regular with three of their final five games at home. MCC will host Northeast Community College on Oct. 16 followed by an ICCAC contest against Southwestern on Oct. 23. The team's final regular season home game will take place on Saturday, Oct. 26 against Central College.
