Ottumwa, IA—The Marshalltown Community College Volleyball team finished the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) portion of its schedule with a 3-0 loss to No. 3 Indian Hills Community College on Tuesday night.
The Tigers (4-19/0-4) fell in straight sets by scores of 25-16, 25-11, and 25-15 to the Warriors (25-3/3-1). Indian Hills also defeated MCC 3-0 at the Student Activity Center on Sept. 29.
Jordan Carter (Sigourney, IA/Sigourney) posted a team-high nine kills while Paola Toledo (Boca Chica, Dominican Republic/San Rafael) added five kills and a service ace. Lannie Dubberke (Cambridge, IA/Ballard) totaled four kills and four digs in the loss.
Wednesday's tri-match at Grand View has been cancelled. The Tigers head to Southwestern Community College on Oct. 24 for a 2:00 PM match.
