Tigers move to 5-0

The Tiger volleyball team had an impressive weekend going 4-0 and moving to 5-0 on the season.  MCC played Dakota College on Friday in St. Cloud where they won 3-1. Friday night the Tigers hit their stride and would not give up another set the rest of the weekend.  The Tigers took on Mesabi Range CTC and won 3-0. The team Saturday defeating Dakota County Technical College 3-0 and defeated St. Cloud Technical & Community College 3-0.

"We had a successful weekend up in St. Cloud. It was good experience getting to play some teams that we don't see in the regular season," stated coach Hoskins. When asked about starting the season 5-0 Hoskins stated, "We couldn't ask to open the season better than 5-0, but it would be nice to play a little cleaner at times, we took a look at the film and while were winning right now we have a lot of room for improvement. For a group of all freshman to be off to a 5-0 start, I'm excited to see where this team can go."

The Tigers will be back in action Monday the 28^th as they take on Grand View JV at Grand View starting at 7:00 PM.
