Tigers rally to defeat Grand View JV

The Tiger volleyball team came from behind to stay undefeated against Grand View JV, as they move to 6-0 on the season. Grand View JV started fast as they took the first two sets 21-25 and 20-25. Tigers made a move in the third set taking it 25-21 followed by a 25-19 fourth set. Tied 2-2 the Tigers took the fifth set 15-13 to stay undefeated at 6-0.

When asked how he felt the team did, head coach Justin Hoskins stated, "We played really well at points, we came out slow and didn't adjust very well to start the match, but we really picked up the execution in the end."

The Tigers showed they could dig out of a hole after losing the first to sets. Coach Hoskins stated, "I'm extremely proud of how our girls responded to being down 0-2. We didn't panic, we started playing to our strengths, and executing a game plan. The girls showed some real maturity not only from battling back from 0-2 but also from fighting back after going down 0-3 in the fifth set".

The Tigers will be back in action and try to stay undefeated on Friday the 1st when they go to Norfolk Nebraska and take on Southeast Community College and Central Community College.
