The Marshalltown Community College volleyball team traveled to Fort Dodge Friday night to take on the 28-9 Tritons of Iowa Central. In a hard fought battle, the Tigers were unable to pick of a set, dropped the match 0-3. The Tigers now move to 18-14 on the season while going into a weekend match against the Lakers of Iowa Lakes Community College.

 Iowa Lakes Community College volleyball is currently 5-32 on the season. After previously defeating the Lakers 3-2 and 3-0 earlier in the season, the Tigers will look to get back in the win column. Saturdays match with begin at 2:00 in the Student Activity Center.

Also in action on Saturday, the Marshalltown Community College men's soccer team will compete in the Region XI Quarterfinal match at 1:00 on the MCC soccer field. The 12-2 Tigers will take on the 7-11-1 Hawks of Northeast Community College. Previously the Tigers defeated the Hawks 7-2 at home on October 17.
