Tigers Reach 20 Win Mark for the first time since 2013

The Marshalltown Community College volleyball team traveled to Iowa Falls to take on the 9-25 Panthers of Ellsworth Community College Monday night. In the fourth match between the two teams this season the Tigers, again, came out on top sweeping ECC three sets to none. The victory pushed the Tigers to the 20 win mark on the season

"Twenty wins is a good accomplishment for our program," stated Head Coach Justin Hoskins after the match. "It's something that our girls and the school should be proud of, but we've got a tournament coming up this weekend and we're hoping to add to our win total."

The Tigers will be back in action on Friday when they take on the Warriors of Indian Hills in the first round of the District J Tournament to be held at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The opening match against the IHCC is set to begin at 3:00PM. Other teams in the tournament include Vincennes University out of Vincennes, Indiana and the host school, Iowa Western.
