The MCC volleyball team added another member to the 2018 roster as Head Coach, Justin Hoskins, signed Wamego, Kansas native Tarah Henderson. Tarah is the daughter of Nichole and Dale Henderson and sister to two brothers, Brady and Bryson. Henderson participated in volleyball, basketball, and was a member of her high school dance team. Henderson saw success on the volleyball court throughout her high school career, lettering her final three years.
"Tarah is a player who I believe can play anywhere along the net for us," stated Head Coach, Justin Hoskins. "She hits a heavy ball and can be effective on a variety of patterns. We got better when Tarah signed."
The 5'10 outside hitter signed with MCC to continue her volleyball career and is excited about the nursing program on campus as well. Henderson has seen success not only on the court, but also in the classroom, earning three academic letters in high school. She plans to major in either nursing or elementary education while at MCC.
