Tigers Take Out Indians in 3

Walterboro, SC – After the team's first win of the season against the Cougars of Central Carolina Community College on Wednesday, they hit the road, traveling 230 miles to take on the Indians in Walterboro, South Carolina. The Tiger volleyball team moved to 2-0 on Thursday night, defeating the Indians in straight sets, 25-11, 25-8, 25-12.

"We played a little more aggressive tonight," stated Head Coach, Justin Hoskins. "That led to a few more mistakes, but they are areas that we need to be able to improve on. Hopefully we can continue to play aggressively, but eliminate some of our mistakes moving forward."

Elena Yee had a big night for the Tigers, recording 12 kills on 18 attempts. Marija Ejic and Jade Jenkins both recorded eight kills to put the Tigers over the top. As a team, the Tigers committed only four attacking errors but surrendered 16 points on serving errors.

The 2018 team have now moved to 2-0. Last season the tigers started hot, going 7-0 before suffering their first loss.
