Ames, IA – The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference has announced Jelena Dukic as Division I Volleyball's Offensive Athlete of the Week. Dukic has been a major reason for the Tigers 13-2 start to the 2018 season. The sophomore setter has been a model of consistency with a large number of newcomers surrounding her.
Dukic recorded 210 assists in the Tigers six matches last week. Her 514 assists on the year ranks her 8th in the NJCAA and only trails Yasmin Assis of Indian Hills by one in the ICCAC. Averaging just under 10 assists per set, the sophomore setter will look for post season recognition if her play continues at that rate.
