The Marshalltown Community College Athletic Department has announced its 51st annual Tiger Days Golf Outing will be held at the American Legion Memorial Golf Course in Marshalltown, IA on Thursday, September 6 with a shotgun start time of 1:00 PM.
Cost for this year’s four-person scramble will be $100 per golfer and will include 18 holes of golf with a cart, lunch, range balls, and a personal gift from the MCC Athletic Department along with chances to win prizes. A social hour along with the tournament’s awards ceremony will be held following the outing. All proceeds will go to support MCC athletic scholarships for student-athletes.
Registration on the day of the outing opens at 11:00 AM along with lunch. The putting green and driving range will also be open at this time.
Tiger Days also seeks sponsors and donations to help fund the outing. Hole sponsors are available for $100 and will receive their name or business name shown as a Tiger Days sponsor on individual tee boxes. Hole in One and Putting Contest Sponsors will be available for $500. All-Region sponsors will receive a banner at the course and displayed at the social hour and receive two team registrations for $1,000. All-American sponsors will be recognized with a banner on the course and displayed at the social hour and is available for $2,500, including two team registrations. The Hall of Fame Sponsor is available for $5,000 and will support greens fees and cart fees for each participant. Along with a banner on the course and at the social hour, the Hall of Fame sponsors will receive two team registrations.
The annual Tiger Days golf outing is one of the main fundraising events for Tiger Athletics and contributes to the success on the fields, courts, and in the classrooms for all MCC student-athletes. The MCC student-athletes thank you for your support and look forward to seeing you on the course.
