Academic success recognized by the NJCAA
June 24, 2013Three student-athletes and two teams from Marshalltown Community College have been recognized by the NJCAA for their academic success throughout the 2012-13 school year. -
Sophomore class leaves mark on MCC soccer program
May 08, 2013The Marshalltown Community College soccer team has had great success the past two years and a lot of that has to do with this group of graduating sophomores. These players saw their team reach 26 victories in two years at MCC, and were nationally ranked at the end of both seasons (No. 20 in 2011 and No. 11 in 2012).

December 13, 2012Marshalltown Community College sophomore defender, Javier Lopez, has been named to the NSCAA Junior College Division I All-American Team.

Road In Albany Ends For Tiger Soccer
November 15, 2012In opening ceremonies at the NJCAA Division I Soccer Championships, head Marshalltown Community College men's soccer coach Rafael Martinez, was named NJCAA Great Lakes District Coach of the Year, leading the Tigers to a 14-6-1 season and birth into the National Championship Tournament.

Tigers Score Win At Nationals
November 14, 2012The MCC men's soccer team knew that they would have to put up at least a two point deficit against 5th seeded Jefferson College (14-6-1) to keep their semifinal dreams alive. Off a header by freshman Marcus Boehler (Yokosuka, Japan) 84 minutes into play the Tigers did just that.
