    July 02, 2018
    Marshalltown, IA - The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) has announced its Academic All-Americans with twenty-two Marshalltown Community College (MCC) student athletes making the cut. To receive a Third Team All-American honor student-athletes needed to earn a 3.6-3.79, to earn a Second Team nod students-athletes needed a 3.8-3.99, and to earn First Team All-American honors student athletes needed to earn a 4.0.
  • Former Tiger Earns Player of the Week Honors in PDL

    Former Marshalltown Community College standout soccer player, Kino Ryosuke, has made his presence felt in the Premier Development League this summer. While playing for the Des Moines Menace, Ryosuke has scored a pair of goals in each of their first three games and earned Premier Development League Player of the Week honors.
  • Men's Soccer Adds Kenlove Solon
    May 29, 2018
    Marshalltown, Iowa - Head Soccer Coach, Rafael Martinez announced Monday, the addition of Kenlove Solon to the 2018 MCC Soccer team. Kenlove is the son of Kaith and Michlyn Newman, and played his High School and club soccer in St. Paul Minnesota. An accomplished player on the field, Solon has tallied 47 goals and 29 assists in his high school career. His accomplishments have earned him All-Conference honors three times, All-State honors twice, and was a finalist for the Minnesota Mr. Soccer award during his senior campaign.
  • Kino Ryosuke Receives Male Athlete of the Year

    The Marshalltown Community College Athletic Department announced its Male Athlete of the Year at the Student Senate Honors & Recognition Reception on Wednesday, April 25. MCC Athletic Director, Kathleen Brown, honored sophomore Kino Ryosuke as the Male Athlete of the Year.
  • Two Tigers Headed to Concordia University Nebraska

    A pair of Tiger soccer players have decided to take their talents to Concordia University in the fall as Andre Santos and Roger De la Villa both signed to play soccer for the Bulldogs. Both players were two-year starts for the Tiger soccer team with Andre Santos playing in 34 games with 27 starts and Roger De la Villa playing in 35 games with 24 starts. The two played on opposite ends of the field as Santos was a stand out on defense and De la Villa was a contributing member of the high scoring group of forwards for the Tigers.
  • Eneko Lasheras Heads to Florida Southern

    Marshalltown Community College Men’s Soccer player, Eneko Lasheras, has decided to continue his athletic and academic career in Lakeland, Florida at Florida Southern College. Lasheras played in 36 games while starting in 32 as a Tiger. He spend his time controlling the middle of the field as a dominant mid fielder in the ICCAC recorded eleven assists, scored nine goal, two being game winners.

    Marshalltown Community College’s soccer player, Bruno Osorio has decided to continue his education and playing career at Delta State next year, signing his Letter of Intent last week.
