  • Tiger Softball Players Earn Honors

    The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference has announced the softball All-Region teams for the 2019 season. The Tigers notched one student-athlete on the 1st team, Utility Player, Saydee Terrell. The sophomore from Chariton, Iowa played seven of the nine positions on the field throughout the course of the season. Primarily playing in the center of the field, she was third in the conference with 17 homeruns. She lead the Tigers in homeruns, RBIs (33), hits (39), and slugging percentage (.855). She was third on the squad with a .333 batting average.

    Sophomore Saydee Terrell was a one woman wrecking squad over the weekend, earning her the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Player of the Week distinction for the first time in her career. In four games, at the dish, she knocked six balls out of the park totaling 11 RBIs. The Chariton, Iowa native also doubled and scored six runs herself. In the field from three different positions, Terrell had no errors in nine chances.

  • Hipsley selected as ICCAC Player of the Week
    March 20, 2019
    Freshman Taylor Hipsley has earned ICCAC Player of the Week honors for the week the Tigers held their spring break trip in Florida. The Tigers went 2-6 on the week, however Hipsley stood out in 20 at-bats, she came up with seven hits for a .350 average. More importantly, she belted three home runs and knocked in 10 runs. The Redfield, IA native scored seven runs as well in the seven games she played in. She is averaging .393 this season in ten games played. The second baseman has also been consistent with the glove as well, boasting a .944 fielding percentage through 10 games.
