Bio
Esports Director Andrew Goforth joined the Tiger coaching staff Spring 2021 when MCC launched the first Esports program.
Goforth is a lifelong student of gaming. Ever since his Dad took him to the Midwestern Pokémon tournament at the age of nine, he has been obsessed with playing both video games and CCG's at a competitive level.
Since the launch of MCC Esports, he has helped lead the program to 11 NJCAAE national titles in Overwatch 2, Mario Kart, Rainbow Six: Siege, Valorant, and SSBU.
Goforth holds a PhD in English and Writing Program Administration from Southern Illinois University - Carbondale.
