The Marshalltown Community College athletic department will deliver its athletic information on a newly revamped website, designed and hosted by Presto Sports. The new website, www.MCCAthletics.com has a launch date of July 16, 2013.

In 2012, the NJCAA signed a six-year agreement with Presto Sports to provide a national stat reporting program for its member colleges.

After being hired in 2012, Director of Athletics, Dan Huntley, worked with the Iowa Valley Community College District marketing team to determine the best way to improve its sports information dissemination to the public, the campuses, and its fans. Presto Sports came to the forefront of the competition because of the ease of reporting, game results, adding and updating rosters, schedules, and news to the campus, conference, and national websites.

“Streamlining our sports information process is important to elevating our athletic programs” Huntley stated. “Prior to the agreement with Presto, we had to spend time inputting schedules, rosters, results, and releases on multiple sites. Using Presto Sports will not only allow us to input these aspects of our programs immediately, but we will also be able to showcase a user-friendly website with a fantastic new design.”

“This change,” continued Huntley, “is needed to help our coaches focus on the recruitment and retention of our student athletes. Our website is an important factor in that process.”
