Marshalltown Community College baseball traveled to take on Iowa Western on Saturday, April 10 and Sunday, April 11 in a four game series.  

In game one five different Tigers combined for five hits and one run on the day. Jackson Stephen pitched six innings with two strikeouts while only walking one. Two multi-run innings for the Reivers helped them take the lead and the victory over MCC 7-1.

Tigers' offense in game two had four runs on nine hits through seven innings. Bryan Morales went 2-3 with an RBI. Josh Ironside took the loss on the day while pitching three innings. The final score for game two had MCC falling 14-4.

In a close game three pitching battle, the Tigers come up short in seven innings falling 3-0. Edwin De Los Santos Moreno pitched six innings giving up three runs with five strikeouts on the day.

The final game of the series the Tigers took a 12-2 loss.  Ernesto Moreno Jr went 2-3 on the day while Morales had one hit with two RBI's. Tom Leathem pitched five innings with two strikeouts.
