Chris Brees

Chris Brees returned to MCC Volleyball summer 2020 as Head Coach for the Tigers. Brees was Head Coach for MCC 2012-15 and will return after coaching at Marshalltown High School for the last five years.

Brees has always had a love for the sport of volleyball and has the experience to back it. He was the setter on the AAU National Runner-up team in 1991 at Peking Palace. He was also a three-year captain and four-year starter for Clarke College men’s volleyball 1993-97.

Brees brings an extensive coaching resume to MCC.

Brees has held multiple positions within Marshalltown Community College. He is currently the Director of Student Engagement and Residence Life. This is the sixth year at MCC in this position.
