MARSHALLTOWN – Marshalltown Community College baseball is proud to announce that three players received DII Iowa Community College Athletic Association Conference (ICCAC) All-Region honors. Carter Schellsmidt and Logan Lynch received Second Team All-Region and Kyle Magdic received Honorable Mention All-Region honors.

Schellsmidt, a freshman catcher from Waukon, IA, had a .368 batting average, 4 homeruns, 36 RBI and 6 stolen bases.

Lynch, a sophomore pitcher from Cartersville, GA, struck out 67 batters and earned 5 wins for the season.

Sophomore, Magdic, from Beamsville, Ontario, primarily played 1^st base for MCC. He had 57 hits for the year including 17 doubles, 7 homeruns and 39 RBI.
