Tigers take down Cornell
Five of the Marshalltown Community College men’s basketball team scored in double figures in Tuesday, Dec. 12 win over Cornell College JV. The Tigers outscored the Rams 87-69.

Five of the Marshalltown Community College men's basketball team scored in double figures in Tuesday, Dec. 12 win over Cornell College JV. The Tigers outscored the Rams 87-69.
Rob Keys led the Tigers in scoring with 21 points shooting 9-13 from the field. He was followed by Angus Ole with 14, Mekki Sisk with 13, Joe Scott with 11 and Tyler Burrows with 10. Ole led the team in rebounding with 8 boards as well as steals with 4.
The Tigers were 63.6% from the free throw line as a team shooting 14-22 while the Rams only saw the line 9 times. MCC also outrebounded Cornell JV 43-22.
MCC will finish the first half of the season on the road as they travel to NIACC Wednesday, Dec. 13 at 7:30 pm.
