    Jade Rohach, a former Clarke University volleyball player and South Tama High School standout athlete committed to join both the Marshalltown Community College women’s basketball and volleyball programs for the upcoming 2014-15 season.

    Two Marshalltown Community College athletic teams have been recognized by the NJCAA as Academic Teams of the Year. The women’s volleyball program and the softball team were honored for achieving a grade point average of at least 3.00.
  • Six student-athletes honored by NJCAA for academic success

    The NJCAA has recognized six Marshalltown Community College student-athletes for their academic success in the 2013-14 season. Two student-athletes received the Superior Academic Achievement award while four student-athletes received the Exemplary Academic Achievement award.

    The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) has announced its Academic All-Region teams for the fall semester, and Marshalltown Community College was well represented. 23 athletes, including 15 on the first-team, across four sports earned recognition from the region.

    Ottumwa, IA—One day after Marshalltown Community College officially announced its decision to make its move to NJCAA Division I status, head women’s volleyball coach Chris Brees signed the program’s first recruit- Karissa Wilcoxson, an outside hitter from Ottumwa High School.
